Pretty & Purple: It's Plush Boutique!

Yesterday evening Tamra and I had the opportunity to attend the grand opening of Plush Boutique! This unique clothing store caters to the fabulous and curvy women, sizes 12-24. The store is located in Historic Castleberry Hill. We had a wonderful time checking out the merchandise, so that we could share it with all of you. We even made a purchase of our own!! The store is filled with great finds for your spring collection: flowing dresses and skirts, sandals and peep-toe pumps, jeans and flirty blouses. If you are in to high end fashion at an affordable price, then you will definitely love this boutique!

Passion for fashion: it runs in the family!

Today Tamra and I were able to celebrate Mother’s Day with the women who have influenced our passion for fashion the most: our mother and grandmother. Our love for fashion wasn’t a learned concept…It was inherited. As small children, we practically lived in the mall. We would always begin our shopping day as soon as the stores opened and wouldn’t leave until the doors were being locked.

We celebrated Mother’s Day with brunch at The Pecan in College Park. It’s is a lovely restaurant and one of my favorites. I am hoping everyone had a wonderful day and if you are a mother, Happy Mother’s Day to you as well!

First, we stopped by the Sweet Auburn Spring Fest! It was actually a fun time. We saw lots of unique items and people...

We also ran into an old friend Janita! She was looking so cute. I had to take a picture of her outfit!

Where the Shrek have you been???

I was browsing through Elle magazine and I came across OPI's newest collection. Its for the upcoming movie Shrek The Final Chapter. I am so excited! Not only for the movie, but for these fabulous colors. I have been in search for vibrant purple and blue nail polish colors. This collection has both shades. What I'm listening to...

I am so excited about the month of May! I have the honor of attending two celebrations of love. I decided to dedicated this months song to the two lovely couples that will be exchanging vows of marriage (see pictures and read more about them below). I fell in love with Monica's new single "Love all over me." You can listen to this song in the sidebar. It is the perfect expression of love!

Roni is one of my closest friends. I am elated to celebrate with her and her finance Keith. I also have have the honor of being a bridesmaid in the wedding. Congratulations and best wishes!
