Subscribe! I'm sure you may be wondering what and how do I subscribe to a blog? Well...don't worry I'm here to explain what subscribing entails and exactly how you can do it!
There are multiple ways and sites you can use to subscribe to a blog. Today, I am going to review a few ways that you can subscribe to the Filthy Chic blog. I find the easiest way to subscribe to blogs is to use one site that will allow you to combine all of your favorite blogs in one central location!
Google Reader
If you currently have a Gmail account or any type of Google account the Google Reader is probably the most convenient way to subscribe.
How it works…
From the Google home page (www.google.com) go to the top and click on the more tab. This should give a drop down box with options. Find “Reader” and click. This should take you to the Google reader home page. From there you should be able to sign in with your existing Google username and password. If you do not have an existing account, it will give you an option to create a new account. All you have to do is follow the instructions.
After singing into your Google Reader, you will now have to add Filthy Chic blog to your subscriptions. Click “add subscription” and type in “filthychic.blogspot.com.” The blog should pop up and all you have to do is click “subscribe.” The feed will automatically update when new posts are added! Super convenient! You also have the option of adding other blogs that you like to follow. You can have them in all in one place!
Bloglovin
Bloglovin is a feed similar to Google Reader. It allows you to add all the blogs you want to follow, and you will receive notification every time one of your favorite blogs has written a new blog post.
How it works…
Go to www.bloglovin.com or check out the sidebar and click “Follow this blog with bloglovin’.” Once you get to the site, you will have to create an account. Just click “sign up now.” Put in your email address and create a password. After you’ve created an account, you can add blogs. Go to the search bar at the top of the page and type in “Filthy Chic.” When the blog pops up just click “follow” and it will be added to your subscriptions! Every time you log-in to your Bloglovin’ account it will Show all of the recently added post. Awesome!
